IND vs SL ODI: Rohit Sharma who is currently gearing up for the upcoming One Day International (ODI) series against Sri Lanka recently made news for his deleted social media post. Sharma who is set to lead Team India shared photos from his practice sessions, but one image, in particular, drew significant interest as fans spotted faulty editing. The same photo was shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and as fans compared both the images, they claimed that the Indian skipper had edited the picture to hide his belly. After receiving lot of criticism from fans, Sharma has now deleted the picture from his social media handle.
Although Sharma has deleted the picture, fans quickly took screenshots and compared the images, which have already attracted widespread attention. One user wrote, “If there are such insecurities, work on your body Brother.”
Another user joked, “BCCI exposed him”
Some other added, “Editing aap name plss”
“Rohit "twisted" his hand while "trimming" his belly,” a user joked.
One fan added, “You're the best the way you're!! Don't do such stunts out of insecurity and embarass yourself!! If you really feel like working on yourself,go for it with full confidence and dedication”
Another questioned, “I am just asking what is need of editing here ??? You have already proved yourself in world cup!! Then just why ???”
After a whitewash in the T20 leg of the series, the Men in Blue are all set to take on hosts Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo. Having already ended the T20 series in style, the focus will now be on the Rohit Sharma-led side to continue the momentum.
