The Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board announced Karnataka SSLC Result 2023 yesterday i.e. on 8 May. The overall pass percentage in Karnataka SSLC result was 83.89 percent.
To pass the Karnataka SSCLC exam, students need to score a minimum of 33 percent marks. Students who did not clear their exams can now apply for supplementary exams. The registration for the same began yesterday and the last date to apply is 15 May. Supplementary exams could be the last opportunity for the students to clear the exams. As per report, the date sheet for the supplementary exam will be soon release on the boards official website i.e. karresults.nic.in.
Giving an over view of the results declared yesterday, girls outshined boys with a pass percentage of 87.87 percent while that of the boys was 80.08 percent. A total of 4,25,968 boys had appeared for SSLC exam in Karnataka, 4,09,134 girls had appeared for the Karnataka SSLC exam.
The pass percentage of students for urban areas dropped while it was similar in rural areas when compared to last year's. In Urban areas, the pass percentage registered in 2023 is 79.62 percent while last year it recorded 82.04 percent. Also, this year, the Karnataka SSLC exam saw four students achieving a score of 625 marks which is in contrast to last years' when only 145 students scored the highest marks in the exam.
A total of 59,246 students were benefited from 10 percent grace marks this year. The grace marks have been increased to 10 per cent compared to 5 percent last year.
