Apple Inc. on 9 September introduced the AirPods 4, AirPod Pro 2 and AirPods Max during the at the GlowTime event. The price of AirPods 4, AirPods 2 and AirPods Max have been revealed. The pre-orders are available now, and the shipping will begin on 20 September.
Apart from this, the AirPods 4 is interacting with Siri and has active noise cancellation variant for the first time.
Apple stated that AirPods 4 comes in with H2 chip that improves audio quality and has personalised spatial audio. Apple AirPods Pro features Hearing Aid feature in more than 100 countries.
Regarding the specifications, Apple said that the new AirPods comes with features including a USB-C and wireless charging.
Apart from this, the new AirPods have these features: active noise cancellation, an H2 chip aimed at improving audio quality, personalised spatial audio, adaptive audio, a case speaker, conversational awareness, forced sensors and up to 30 hours of battery life.
Apple claims they have designed AirPods 4 with sustainability in mind, using 100 per cent fiber-based materials and reduced packaging by over 30 per cent with their move towards carbon neutrality goal by 2030.
Apple has priced AirPods 4 at $129, while the active noise cancellation variant is priced at $179.
Apple also announced the launch of AirPods Pro 2 during the event. The new feature of the AirPods Pro 2 include hearing protection, hearing test and hearing aid feature.
Other features of AirPods Pro 2 include a personalised hearing profile, conversation awareness, conversation boost, adaptive EQ, effortless set-up, a noise app, and more.
The firm said the new health features coming to AirPods Pro 2 later this fall in over 100 countries.
Apple in the Glow Time event also introduced AirPods Max. These headphones will come in attractive new colours – Midnight, Blue, Purple, Orange and Starlight, and features USB-C.
The features include active noise cancellation, spatial audio enabled with iOS 18, transparency mode, extended battery life up to 20 hours, fast charging, providing up to 1.5 hours of playback from a 5-minute charge, bluetooth 5.0 and can be used with a wired connection via a Lightning to 3.5mm audio cable. The device can also be integrated with Apple’s ecosystem.
They have been priced at $549.
Apple in the meantime also unveiled iPhone 16 Pro with new colours and Apple Watch Series 10.
