Young grappler Aman Sehrawat lost to Japanese top-seed Rei Higuchi in the 57kg free-style semifinal bout, will battle today for the bronze medal against Puerto Rico's Darian Toi Cruz. In addition to this, three more games will be played today which includes women's individual golf match to men's and women relay game.

On the fourteenth day of the Paris Olympics 2024, India will kick off with the Women's Individual Golf event. Indian golfers Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar will participate in the competition starting at 12:30 pm. The Men's and Women's 4x400m Relay Rounds are scheduled for 2:10 pm, followed by a wrestling match at 9:45 pm.
Speaking of Sehrawat, he was ousted by the Japanese completely in the bout, and within a blink of an eye, the match concluded. Higuchi moved into the gold medal match with a 10-0 win by technical superiority. Following the defeat, Aman now still has a shot at the bronze medal.
The 21-year-old Indian is an Asian Championship gold medallist and the only male wrestler from the country to qualify for the Olympics. Earlier, Aman ensured himself an easy passage into the quarterfinal with a dominating performance against North Macedonian rival Vladimir Egorov.
India slipped to 64th position in the overall standings with its four bronze medals and one silver. All the bronze medal were secured in shooting (women's 10m air pistol, 10m air pistol mixed team and men's 50m rifle 3 positions) while silver in Javelin throw.
