Paris Olympics India Day 13 schedule: Indian athlete Neeraj Chopra will compete in the javelin throw finals at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Thursday. Jyothi Yarraji will compete in the Women's 100m hurdles Repechage Round at 2:05 pm. The key match of the day would be the Men's javelin throw final featuring Neeraj Chopra at 11:55 pm. Indian hockey team will compete in the men's Bronze medal match against Spain at 5:30 pm. Indian athlete Avinash Sable finished in 11th place in the men's 3000m steeplechase final at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Wednesday.

Neeraj Chopra eyes at Gold in javelin throw at Paris Olympics

Neeraj Chopra continued his promising performance in the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. He will compete in the javelin throw final in Paris on Thursday, August 8. Chopra made a promising start as he topped the qualification round in his quest to defend his men's javelin Olympic final and join an elite company of Olympians to have defended the gold.

In the men's javelin throw qualification round, Neeraj Chopra registered a huge throw of 89.34 metres in Group B of the event. After his spectacular performance on Tuesday, Chopra made his way into the finals. Neeraj comfortably breached the qualification mark of 84.00 m by throwing 89.34 m in his first attempt, his best throw this season.
