In addition to Manu Bhaker and Sarabjit, there are expectations from other Indian shooters to bring more medals to their tally. Four shooters will compete in Wednesday's qualification matches to secure their spot in the final round of shooting. Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar, Swapnil Kusale will compete in the 50 m rifle 3 Positions Men's Qualification Round, whereas, Shreayasi Singh and Rajeshwari Kumari will compete in women's trap qualification.
Meanwhile, Philippines' Nesthy Petecio knocked India boxer Jasmine Lamboria out of the women's 57 kg round of 32 match in the ongoing Paris Olympics on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Indian boxer Lovlina will compete in the premlims round of Boxing Women's 75 KG category. Preeti Pawar will compete for the next round in 54 KG category. In the ongoing Summer Games, India fielded a squad of six boxers to compete for the podium finishes at the Paris 2024 Olympics boxing tournament.
