Power cut in Chennai today: The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) announced Monday that there will be a power supply disruption due to maintenance work. The power outage will impact Tamil Nadu's capital, Chennai, for two days. The scheduled electricity disruption will be effective on Tuesday, October 14, and Wednesday, October 15.
The power supply will be suspended around 9:00 am and may resume by 2:00 pm on each of the two days. The power supply may be restored earlier if the maintenance work is completed sooner.

According to a Punjab Kesari report, power supply will remain suspended in some areas of Punjab's Moga on October 14. The scheduled power disruption will become effective at 10:00 am in Parwana Nagar. The power outage is due to the disruption of power lines from Singhawala Vedanta Nagar and will resume by 4:00 pm.
Areas that will feel the impact of the 6-hour-long outage include Bukanwala Road, Rajindra Estate, Bagayana Basti, Ghalla Road, Vedant Nadar, Parwana Nagar, DM Road, Sham Vihar, among others.
