Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) is an India-based company. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), a smart mobility solutions provider. It operates with a network of over 1,366 sales points and 1,550 service points across India. The model line-up consists of approximately 13 car models across segments: Grand i10 NIOS, i20, i20 N-Line, AURA, EXTER, VENUE, VENUE N-Line, VERNA, CRETA, ALCAZAR, TUCSON, KONA Electric and all-electric SUV IONIQ 5. HMIL also forms a critical part of HMC’s global export hub with exports spanning across Africa, the Middle East, and other countries including Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. HMIL’s manufacturing plant, near Chennai, is optimized to manufacture its full range of vehicle models. Its facilities include a press shop, a body shop, a paint shop, an assembly shop, and an engine & transmission shop. The Assembly Shop comprises the Trim Line, the Chassis Line, the Final Line and the OK Line.
