UP Board Exam Date 2025: The Class 10th and 12th students of the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shikhsa Parishad (UPMSP) will appear in the final examination in February and March next year.
According to a Hindustan Times report, the UP Board Class 10th and 12th examinations will start on February 24 and conclude on March 12. The UPMSP released the exam date sheet or time table on Monday. According to the UPMSP Class 12th,10th board time table, the exams will be held in two shifts.
The first shift's exam will begin at 8:30 am and end at 11:45 am, and the second shift will begin from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
UP Board Exams for Class 10th and 12th, also called high school and intermediate, will begin on February 24 and conclude on March 6. On the first day of the examination, high school students will appear in the Hindi exam, whereas students in the intermediate division will appear for the Military Science paper in the morning shift.
This year, 54,38,597 students will appear for the UP Board 10th and 12th examinations in 2025. These include 27,40,151 high school students and 26,98,446 intermediate students from 27,000 UPMSP-affiliated schools.
According to HT, there has been a decline in the number of school students who enrolled for Class 10 and 12th this year. The number has decreased by 86,745 students. For the 2024 UP Board Exams, a total of 55,25,342 students were registered.
The Uttar Pradesh Board has increased the number of students appearing in the examination from an exam centre. Earlier, an exam centre was allowed to conduct the UP Board Examination for 1,200 students at a time. Now, the strength has been increased to 2,000 for exam centres as government-aided schools have a higher capacity to conduct examinations.
